Safe Routes to School:
Rural Lane County

Our mission is to provide bicycle and pedestrian education to schools in rural Lane County.

We partner with rural communities to support safe, easy, and fun ways for kids to walk, roll, bus, or carpool to school.

Our Approach:

Safe Routes to School uses a “Six ‘E’” approach to improve students’ health, attendance, and academic success; reduce the chaos of pick-up and drop-off, and support safety improvements to roads in rural communities.
